My career background is in private equity with a regional focus on Southeast Asia. I was most recently Business Development Director at Heritage Group, a leading Cambodian conglomerate, where I lead M&A and fundraising for the group. Prior to that, I was Senior Analyst at Emerging Markets Investment Advisers, a private equity firm which specializes in the frontier ASEAN market. My experience has taught me that cultural nuances often has very little to do with language barriers and more to do with time spent in the relevant region. I have lived in Myanmar, Australia, Singapore, Germany and Cambodia. I hold a MSc Economics from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a BSc Economics & Finance (First Class) from University of London (London School of Economics). I am also a FMVA holder from the Corporate Finance Institute.
